Amitabh Bachchan has been active in the Indian entertainment industry for more than half a century now and the megastar is showered with extraordinary love from his fans. Amitabh Bachchan religiously interacts with his fans every Sunday at his residence, Jalsa, and his fans come from around the corners of the country to get a glimpse of the Badla actor. However, it might come as a sad affair for his fans as the doctors have suggested to suspend the meet and greet with the superstar.

As per a source close to the actor, doctors have advised Amitabh Bachchan to suspend his interaction rituals with his fans on Sundays in wake of the pandemic Coronavirus. The actor constantly fights with health issues and has low immunity. With the viral disease spreading at an enormous rate around the entire world, old people with low immunity are most susceptible to the outbreak and in accordance to the medical warnings, Big B had to suspend his Sunday greetings with his fans.

Amitabh Bachchan has been meeting and greetings his fans at his residence every Sunday for more than 15 years and it has become a ritual for the megastar and his fans. The source adds that it was not Amitabh’s decision to suspend the meetings but he was left with no choice. Additionally, avoiding public gatherings with not only be precautionary for the actor but suggested for his fans as well.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will next be seen in the family drama, Gulabo Sitabo, alongside Ayushmann Khurrana and biopic of Vijay Barse, Jhund. The actor will also play key roles in the Ranbir Kapoor starrer trilogy Brahmashtra and Emraan Hashmi starrer thriller Chehre.
