Marvel Cinematic Universe is on a roll with back to back exciting projects and while the fans are eagerly waiting for the upcoming Spider-Man movie led by Tom Holland, the long-anticipated character of Adam Warlock is finally making his way into the MCU. English actor Will Poulter will be joining the upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 as the over-powered Adam Warlock.
According to a report published by Deadline, Will Poulter has been signed by the makers of the GOTG3 to play the much-loved comic book based superhero character, Adam Warlock. Filmmaker James Gunn and MCU executives had been searching for an actor to fit into the shoes of Adam Warlock and their long quest ended at Will Poulter. While the details of the plot have been kept under tight wraps similar to other MCU movies, Will met the rest of the actors recently.
The character of Adam Warlock was teased in the last movie in the Guardians Of The Galaxy franchise as ‘him’ by Ayesha, played by Elizabeth Debicki. Adam was unveiled by Ayesha to destroy the Guardians and avenge their actions in the Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2.
