It was earlier informed that Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty are coming together for another collaboration after the success of Simmba and the reports suggested that the two are collaborating for the remake of Angoor. Now the makers have confirmed the collaboration between the two for an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s play The Comedy of Errors.

While the blockbuster iconic comedy-drama Angoor was also an adaptation of The Comedy of ErrorsCirkus will be Rohit Shetty’s take on the play. The movie stars Ranveer Singh in the pivotal character with an eclectic cast comprising of Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma, Siddhartha Jadhav, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Vrajesh Hirjee, Vijay Patkar, Sulbha Arya, Mukesh Tiwari, Anil Charanjeett, Ashwini Kalsekar, and Murli Sharma.

The movie is expected to go on the floors next month and will be shot extensively in Mumbai, Ooty and Goa. Bankrolled by T-Series, in association with Reliance Entertainment and Rohit Shetty, the movie is set to release in the last quarter of 2021 marking third collaboration between Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh post Simmba and yet-to-release Sooryavanshi.
