Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer actioner Saaho has become one of the most anticipated movies of the year and everyone has been waiting for its release. Earlier the movie was scheduled for a release on the Independence Day but recently there were speculations that the makers may postpone its release date.

Confirming the news, production banner of the multi-crore actioner took to social media to make an official announcement of the new release date. UV Creations tweeted that they are not ready to compromise the quality of the content of their film and therefore they are postponing the release of the same. The official announcement confirmed that the movie will not release on the earlier scheduled date but it will hit the theatres worldwide on 30th of August.


Helmed by Sujeeth, Saaho stars Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor in the leads and is touted to be India’s biggest action movie till date. The movie has also created buzz for its whopping budget on the line and recently there were reports that the eight-minute-long climax has cost the makers 70 crore INR.

The new release date of Saaho will be commercially beneficial for Akshay Kumar starrer Mission Mangal and John Abraham starrer Batla House which are releasing on the Independence Day.
