It was earlier informed that Ahmed Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur are coming together for an actioner titled Om and ever since the hunt for the leading lady begun. While it was speculated that Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria were approached to play the love interest of Aditya Roy Kapur in the movie, the latest development suggests that Sanjana Sanghi has been roped for the role instead.

A source closer to the development of the movie says that filmmaker Ahmed Khan was looking for a young generation actress to be paired with Aditya Roy Kapur in Om and Disha Patani, as well as Tara Sutaria, were approached one after another to be a part of the movie. However, due to their prior work commitment, the actresses failed to take the conversation forward and sign the dotted line. Tara is currently busy with the production of Ek Villain 2 and Disha Patani has KTina and Yoddha on her timeline.

Dil Bechara actress Sajana Sanghi was then approached and after listening to the script of the movie, she gave her nod for the project. The reports suggest that director Ahmed Khan loved Sanjana’s performance in her debut Dil Bechara and found her to be the right match for the character in Om. On the other hand, Sanjana has neither confirmed nor denied the reports. Helmed by Ahmed Khan, actioner Om stars Aditya Roy Kapur in the male lead and is expected to wrap up by early next year.
