After much speculations about the lead actor and several rumours doing rounds over the internet, an official announcement about the remake of Tamil blockbuster actioner, Kaithi, has put the grapevines to rest. Ajay Devgn, who is also co-producing the true action flick, will be playing the lead in the highly-speculated project.

Taking to micro-blogging networking website, Twitter, Ajay Devgn made an official announcement on Friday addressing the recent rumours and confirmed that he is playing the part in the movie which is slated to release on 12th of February 2021. The actor wrote, “Yes, I’m doing the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Kaithi. Releases on February 12, 2021.”

The Hindi remake will be bankrolled by the production banner of Ajay Devgn, Ajay Devgn Ffilms, in association with Reliance Entertainment and Dream Warrior Pictures. Kaithi is an actioner with no lead female lead and songs and it turned out to be a blockbuster at the box office with a positive word of mouth from one and all.

With Ajay Devgn in the lead, the Hindi remake of the action thriller promises a great visual experience for the audience and we are expecting nothing but spectacular action from the team.
