Hollywood ace filmmaker Christopher Nolan is currently basking in the successes of his recent release, Tenet, which featured Robert Pattinson, John David Washington, Elizabeth Debicki, Kenneth Branagh and Bollywood actress Dimple Kapadia who made her debut in Hollywood with the mind-bending thriller movie. Impressed with her performance, the director plans to work with other Indian actors as well.
Sharing his plans to revisit India for work soon, he told IANS, “I never make plans so far ahead. But I had an amazing experience in India, and I definitely want to come back and work more in India with Indian actors. I don’t know what I’m doing next.” He had earlier said that Tenet was shot all across the world but his favourite shots were taken in Mumbai and he had a tremendous experience with the city and its sounds.
“That experience of meeting filmmakers of Mumbai and getting to see the sights and sounds of Mumbai was very inspiring for me. It immediately set my imagination to work on how I could come back there and do some shooting,” he said earlier.
Christopher Nolan has earlier shot scenes of hi blockbuster superhero thriller, The Dark Knight Rises in Jodhpur which featured Hollywood superstars like Christian Bale and Tom Hardy. The scenes of his recent release, Tenet, were shot across Mumbai with popular spots including Breach Candy Hospital, Colaba Causeway, Colaba Market, Gateway of India, Grant Road, Royal Bombay Yacht Club, and the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel.
