American actor Chris Pratt is currently at the highest point of his career with a number of exciting projects that are released or due for a premiere. While the actor was last seen in the science fiction movie, Jurassic World Dominion, and the thriller web series, The Terminal List, he will be reprising his most-famous character of Star-Lord in the two upcoming MCU projects.
Chris Pratt will be playing a key role in the upcoming Thor: Love And Thunder, which is releasing this week, and will be following the story in the third instalment of the Guardians Of The Galaxy franchise. However, in a recent interview, the actor hinted that the two projects might be his last stints in the MCU.
In a talk with Men’s Health, Chris Pratt opened up about his future with MCU and said, “Don’t actually know what’s gonna come next. You asked whether or not I’m cognizantly, intentionally turning a page. The page is turning. Whether I want to or not. Because the franchises are over.” The actor also shared an example of American Football player Russell Wilson who left his favourite team, the Seattle Seahawks, after a duration of 10 years, and explained that the decision is not in his control.
Similarly, another MCU actor Chris Hemsworth, best known for playing Thor in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe, shared a similar uncertainty for his future in the franchise. Hemsworth had hinted that the upcoming Thor: Love And Thunder might be his last appearance as the superhero. Earlier this year, Dave Bautista had also confirmed that Gaurdians Of Galaxy Vol. 3 will be his last act as Drax in MCU and he won’t be returning back.
