Post the fantastic success of Marvel’s Avengers and Thor movie franchise, Australian actor Chris Hemsworth has become a household name around the globe for his portrayal of the comic-book based superhero character Thor and a black-market missionary in Netflix’s movie Extraction. While the actor is known for his built-up physique, he is going to go a notch above for the portrayal of WWE legend, Hulk Hogan.

Hulk Hogan is a retired American professional wrestler who became a household name amongst the wrestling fans during his era. Despite having poor wrestling skills, Hulk Hogan was the first person to truly transcend professional wrestling merely because of his ability to play to the crowd both inside in the ring and out of it. While Chris Hemsworth will play him in his upcoming biopic, he is undergoing intense physical training to get into his character.

“This movie is going to be a really fun project. As you can imagine, the preparation for the role will be insanely physical. I will have to put on more size than I ever have before, even more than I put on for Thor. There is the accent as well as the physicality and the attitude,” said Hemsworth that he would put on more muscles than he did for his character in Avengers franchise.

While getting in shape will be a task for the actor, he will also have to adapt the iconic accent and attitude of Hulk Hogan to live him as a person on-screen.
