The Surender Reddy directorial Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy starring megastar Chiranjeevi has been in the news lately and concluded the shooting recently. The period drama is a biopic on Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy who is touted to be one of the first freedom fighters in India to revolt against the British rule. He was publically hanged in the year 1847.
Cinematographer Rathnavelu took to Twitter to announce the wrap up of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and quote, “Syeraa shooting completed !!Thanx to each n every member of Team Syeraa for their hard work n cooperation .A memorable journey indeed!! Movie has shaped out extremely well. Kick started the DI too (sic)”.

The movie is being bankrolled by Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan Teja under the production banner of Konidela Production Company with a whopping budget of 200 crore INR. Along with Chiranjeevi, Amitabh Bachchan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sudeep, and Jagapathy Babu will be seen in pivotal characters.
Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is expected to hit the theatres on the Independence Day, primarily in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages.
