Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, and Akshaye Khanna’s Chhaava continues its strong run at the Indian box office, showing impressive growth in advance bookings as it gears up for day 5. With Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti approaching, the historical action drama is experiencing a surge in demand.
Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film maintained a steady performance on its first Monday, surpassing early estimates. While predictions had suggested collections would remain under 20 crores, Chhaava exceeded expectations by earning ₹24.10 crore, witnessing only a 27% dip from its ₹33.10 crore opening day.
The film’s winning streak is expected to continue today, with advance bookings showing significant growth. So far, 1.44 lakh tickets have been sold across top national chains, marking a 26% increase compared to Monday’s 1.14 lakh ticket sales.
At PVR Inox, Chhaava has sold 72.9K tickets, accounting for 64% of total footfalls. Other key contributions include:
- Cinepolis: 22.8K tickets
- Miraj Cinemas: 13.3K tickets
- MovieMax: 13.6K tickets
- Rajhans Cinemas: 7.1K tickets
- Movietime Cinemas: 5.2K tickets
- MovieMax (Additional sales): 10K tickets
With ₹24.10 crore collected on day 4, the film is on track to surpass ₹25 crore today. If it continues this momentum, it could enter Bollywood’s top 10 highest first Tuesday collections, needing to surpass Krrish 3’s ₹24.86 crore to secure a spot.
With strong advance bookings and growing audience interest, Chhaava is set to make a significant impact in its theatrical run.
