Marvel’s Cinematic Universe is larger than ever with phase four and the studio has introduced a number of new television series and movies in its expansion plan. With the announcement of the upcoming series, Echo, the fans of Daredevil are overjoyed as Charlie Cox will return to MCU as the comic-book-based superhero after his short cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
As per the latest reports, Echo will include a plotline in which Charlie Cox’s Daredevil is searching for a former ally who apparently happens to be Jessica Jones. Charlie has been an integral part of the Daredevil franchise and has played the blind attorney and vigilante superhero in three seasons of Daredevil as well as the 2017 team-up series The Defenders. Charlie also reprised his character in MCU’s Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Along with Charlie Cox, Echo will also feature Vincent D’Onofri as the evil Kingpin who is also an archenemy of Daredevil. Vincent also reprised his character as a supervillain in the recent Hawkeye series featuring Hailee Steinfeld and Jeremy Renner.
Helmed by Sydney Freeland and Catriona McKenzie, Echo will feature Alaqua Cox as the protagonist with Tantoo Cardinal, Devery Jacobs, Cody Lightning and Graham Greene in the key roles.
