Tom Holland-led upcoming Spider-Man movie is undoubtedly one of the most-anticipated live-action Spider-Man as it is all set to bring actors from previous Spider-Man versions of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. While the fans are overwhelmed with the recent alleged addition of Emma Stone, Andrew Garfield, Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, Alfred Molina returning with their respective characters, Charlie Cox’s debut as Matt Murdock has been a treat for everyone.
Charlie Cox rose to fame with his portrayal of the comic-book character of Matt Murdock aka Daredevil in the successful television series by the title of Daredevil, a blind lawyer who leads a double life as a vigilante in the Hell’s Kitchen. As per fan theories, Matt Murdock will be making an entry in the upcoming Spider-Man movie as his lawyer to prove his innocence in the mayhem created by J.K Simmons’ character in the climax of Spider-Man: Far From Home.
While Charlie Cox’s massive fan-following could be a reason to include him the MCU, there has been no official confirmation about the information yet. Earlier, Ben Affleck, best known for playing Batman in the DC Universe, had portrayed the character of Matt Murdock in the 2003 release, Daredevil. However, since he is leading Justice League in the DC Universe, Marvel Studios cannot cast him to reprise his character in the alleged ultimate Spider-Man crossover.
Starring Tom Holland as the protagonist, untitled Spider-Man 3, now in production, is set to release in 2021.
