COVID-19 turned out to be a threat to humanity and thousands of people are losing their lives to the viral pandemic. While everyone is battling the deadly virus with their own experiences, Canadian actor Nick Cordero had to undergo leg amputation during his ongoing treatment of COVID-19.

As per the information made public by his wife, Amanda Kloots, Broadway actor showed symptoms like COVID-19 and was admitted to a hospital due to pneumonia. Amanda also informed his fans through her Instagram handle that Nick tested himself for the viral disease but came out clean twice. However, doctors insisted on getting checked for Coronavirus and the test came back positive in the third attempt.

While Nick’s condition kept on deteriorating, he has been kept in Intense Care Unit since the 1st of April and after facing severe blood clotting in his right leg, doctors were left with no choice to amputate his leg. Amanda Kloots confirmed the news on Instagram and wrote, “We got some difficult news yesterday. Basically, we had issues with his right leg with clotting and getting blood down to his toes. And it just isn’t happening with surgery and everything.”

We heartily wish Nick Cordero to survive the deadly virus and came out strong and healthy with his treatment. Meanwhile, stay indoors and practice precautionary measures to curb the spread of the virus.
