DC Universe’s upcoming superhero web series ‘Titans’ starring Australian actor Brenton Thwaites in the lead as Robin, will be releasing this October on  Netflix, world’s leading entertainment streaming platform.

After the murder of his parents in the acrobats circus by Tony Zucco, young Dick Grayson a.k.a Robin is adopted by Bruce Wayne (Batman), with whom he disrupts Zucco and captures him. Having been trained since childhood with Bruce, Robin is set out to make an individuality of his own and not just be Batman’s side kick.

 

 

In the upcoming ‘Titans’, Dick will be seen as a Detective with the Deteroit Police Department, who then forms his team of Titans to fight the evil.

The Netflix description of the show states- “Titans follows Robin as he emerges from the shadows of Gotham City to lead a new group of heroes – Raven, Starfire, and Beast Boy. The newly formed crew of young superheroes join forces to fight their inner demons and save the planet from evil. They soon realize that alone they’re broken, but together they’re Titans.”

The series along with Brenton, stars Anna Diop as Starfire, Teagon Croft as Raven and Ryan Potter as Beast Boy.  The 12 episodes series is all set to release on 12th October.
