Commenced last year, Brahmastra remains one of the most anticipated upcoming movies of the Indian cinema and filmmaker Ayan Mukerji are leaving no stones unturned to make it a memorable experience. While the Ranbir Kapoor starrer magnum opus is making headlines for the longest, Fox Star Studios has asked Ayan Mukerji and Karan Johar to restrain the run-time of the movie by half an hour.

Brahmastra is currently the costliest movie of the country till date and those who have seen some clippings cannot stop admiring the cinematic experience that Ayan Mukerji has in store for the audience with his masterpiece. However, the bound screenplay of the movie has almost touched the 3-hour mark and the production house is suggesting to trim it down by at least 30 minutes. The modern consumer has adjusted to shorter movies and therefore, Fox Star Studios feels that cutting down the runtime will not only enable them to get maximum showcasing in the multiplexes and in the single screens but also make it a memorable experience for the audience.

The Ayan Mukerji directorial stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt as the lead pair along with Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Dimple Kapadia in prominent characters. Marking the third collaboration between Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra was announced as India’s first trilogy.
