Salman Khan’s upcoming actioner and the third instalment to the blockbuster cop drama series, Dabangg, has been making headlines lately for both positive and negative reasons. While Salman fans are going crazy to get more glimpse of the actor from the upcoming flick, the title track of Dabangg 3 is receiving more damage than love.

Recently, the makers of the Dabangg franchise released a new version of the iconic title track, Hud Hud Dabangg, for the much-awaited third instalment of the movie series and it straight away fell into controversial elements. In the title track, Salman Khan can be seen shaking a leg with Hindu saints and seeking blessings from people dressed as the Triple deity of supreme divinity in Hinduism. However, it didn’t go well with many.

Earlier this week, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti raised a complaint against the makers for deteriorating the image of Hindu saints and requested the Central Board of Film Certification to halt the film certification process for the Salman Khan starrer. Now the Twitterati have taken the matter in their hands and trended the hashtag #BoycottDabangg3 over the microblogging website.

Dabangg 3 Title Track Salman Khan

The social media users trended the hashtag to raise concern over the visuals of the Dabangg 3 title track and urged everyone to boycott the movie. However, in a counteracting trend, Salman Khan fans trended hashtag #AwatingDabangg3 to show their support to the Bhaijaan and his upcoming movie.

Meanwhile the Twitterati are at a self-declared war, Prabhu Deva directorial starring Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Arbaaz Khan and Sudeep in prominent characters is slated to release on 20 December 2020.
