Sunny Deol’s latest action-packed thriller Jaat, produced by Mythri Movie Makers (Pushpa 2 fame), is showing strong momentum at the box office. After a solid start, the film is gaining traction with increasing ticket sales and occupancy, especially as it enters the weekend.

The film opened with a decent 9.56% morning occupancy. Although it dipped to 5.44% on Friday, Saturday brought a 38% jump, rising to 7.53%, showing that positive word-of-mouth is kicking in.

Here’s the morning occupancy breakdown:

  • Day 1: 9.56%
  • Day 2: 5.44% (-43%)
  • Day 3: 7.53% (+38%)

Ticket sales reflect this trend too. By 1 PM on Saturday, Jaat had sold 29.8K tickets on BookMyShow, a 51% increase from Friday’s 19.7K.

With a strong weekend ahead, the film has already earned ₹16.62 crore net in India in two days and could reach the ₹10 crore mark for Saturday alone. If the pace continues, Jaat might just become Sunny Deol’s second biggest hit after Gadar 2.
