The epic reincarnation comedy-drama Housefull 4 had put the box office on fire with the unexpected collection and is still minting coins despite the negative word of mouth and tough competition from other movies.

With an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda, and Pooja Hegde, Housefull 4 entered the 100 crore club with ease and shattered numerous records at the box office. Despite the release on pre-Diwali preparations and negative word of mouth on social media networks, the movie continued a strong trend at the box office.

With the release of Sunny Singh’s Ujda Chaman and Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Bala, the comedy-drama experienced a low in ticket sales but witnessed good growth on Saturday. Housefull 4 managed to mint 2.80 crore INR on Saturday to take its total to 194.5 8 crore INR in just 16 days of its release.

While the movie inches towards the 200 crore club, Indian cinema goers once again proved the power of a strong star cast. Meanwhile, Ayushmann Khurrana’s Bala is giving a tough competition to the Akshay Kumar starrer as it collected 25.88 crore INR in just two days.
