Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer War took a great start at the box office and lived up to the expectations after building a great hype. While the actors had invested quite many efforts to promote the actioner, the movie has become the all-time highest opening movie.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter account to announce the first-day figures of the multicrore actioner and the collection is simply mindblowing. War has managed to collect a total of 53.35 crore INR in the Indian box office on its first day crossing the benchmark set by Thugs Of Hindostan despite tough competitions from DC’s Joker and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.

Released over 4000 screens over the country, the movie collected 51.60 crore INR in Hindi and 1.75 crore INR in Tamil and Telugu combined. With an extended weekend and mostly good reviews, War is expected to shatter multiple box office records with Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff at the upfront.
