Allu Arjun and Mahesh Babu are one of the most loved actors of the South Indian industries and the two have been one of the biggest rivals at the box office as well. While the two recently had their movies released with a gap of a day, both the movies are doing great at the box office and setting new records internationally.
Allu Arjun, Nivetha Pethuraj, and Pooja Hedge starrer Ala Vaikuntapuramlo released on the 12th of January while Sarileru Neekevvaru starring Mahesh Babu and Rashmika Mandanna released a day prior on the 11th of January. Despite releasing late, Allu Arjun starrer Ala Vaikuntapuramlo managed to mint more success at the international box offices.
As per trade analyst Ramesh Bala, Ala Vaikuntapuramlo collected USD 1,831,717 at the American box office on 15th January while Mahesh Babu starrer Sarileru Neekevvaru earned USD 1,801,994 in the USA. Meanwhile, Allu Arjun starrer collected AD 376,618 in Australia and Mahesh Babu starrer minted AD 331,178 in the same. Although both the movies are performing great at the international box offices, Ala Vaikuntapuramlo outnumbered its competitor by a slight margin.
Both the actors recently hosted a success party at their respective residences for their respective movie successes. While Alu Arjun chose hosted a big celebration and invited all the cast and crew of the project, Mahesh Babu celebrated the success of his movie with his family and acquaintances.
