Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut has been one of the most talked-about actors in the country and also remains the controversial queen with her remarks. Last year, Kangana remained the topic of discussion related to anything and everything under the sun. In the series of controversies, she also passed a remark targeting renowned poet and lyricist Javed Akhtar.

For the unversed, the 76-year-old seasoned writer and poet, Javed Akhtar, filed a defamation suit against Kangana Ranaut in November for allegedly making defamatory and baseless comments against him in a television interview. Since then, the two are going neck to neck and fighting the complaining on legal grounds. However, Kangana moved to Bombay High Court to request to cancel the defamation case which was rejected by the bench early this morning.

The court in Mumbai had asked Kangana to be present over the defamation case filed by Javed Akhtar last week but the hearing was delayed after she filed a request to cancel the complaint in High Court. However, her plea has been rejected and she will be summoned for the next hearing.
