The Matrix trilogy has been one of the most successful series in the history of Hollywood and made a name for the lead cast Keanu Reeves. The much-loved series concluded with a third instalment, The Matrix Revolutions, in the year 2003. However, the makers are not done with their best production and rumours are doing rounds that a new Matrix movie is on the cards.
The rumours have it that original directors Lana Wachowski and Lilly Wachowski are working on a new project which has an alleged working title of Project Ice Cream, which is speculated to be the new Matrix movie penned down by Jak Penn.
The latest update suggests that Michael B Jordon, who is best known for portraying the comic-based character of Erik Killmonger in the blockbuster superhero film Black Panther, has been roped to take the Matrix mantle forward in the upcoming movie. However, it is still under wraps that whether it will be a reboot or a remake to the blockbuster Matrix series.
The alleged movie is expected to go on floors next year in the city of Chicago.
