Bigg Boss 13 is on the pinnacle of its TRP for the current season and the celebrity-based reality show is entering its mini-finale phase. While host Salman Khan announced no elimination on the weekend owing to Diwali, a mid-week eviction happened after the housemates sabotaged the weekly task.

On receiving the least vote among the nominated contestants, writer Siddharth Dey was evicted from the madhouse on Tuesday. Siddharth has been active in the entertainment industry for quite a long now and has been working with numerous celebrities including Salman Khan. While he was bashed by host Salman Khan on ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ and eliminated in mid-week evictions, the writer has only good things to say about everyone.

In a conversation with Indian Express, Siddharth Dey shared his experience in the madhouse and said that it was a bag of mixed emotion and that everyone should experience this adventure for at least once. Talking about his eviction from the madhouse, Siddharth Dey said that he was praying to every God to get out of the Bigg Boss house and was overjoyed on going back home.

While the writer faced much controversies post use of derogatory comments against fellow female contestants, he clarified his stand as he said, “I did not abuse a single time. It’s just that I used a few words in jest that went against me. It’s wrong to judge me only because of a couple of incidents.” Siddharth Dey later apologized to Shehnaaz Gill and Arti Singh in the show for using the wrong set of words. “I said all those words, which I know I shouldn’t have. I did apologise to both of them,” he further added.

Siddharth Dey, who has worked with Salman Khan for many live events including the Dabangg Tour, received wrath from the actor on the weekend episode over his statements against Shehnaaz Gill. Discussing the same, the 35-year-old writer said that Salman Khan had always treated him like a kid and loved him a lot. “I took his words sportingly knowing it was for my betterment,” he said.

While Siddharth Dey’s journey in the house ended on a bad note, more evictions will happen from the madhouse before the mini-finale on November 2.
