Bigg Boss has been one of the most talked and controversial reality shows of the nation and the ongoing season of the show is no different. While the makers of the celebrity-based reality show announced new schemes for the current season, the reality show initially had a slow pace but gained momentum recently. With the success of the season, there were rumors that the show hosted by Salman Khan will get an extension of few weeks but there was no confirmation so far. However, the latest report submitted by Pinkvilla confirms that Bigg Boss 13 is indeed getting an extension of five weeks. While the contestants will have to wait for more than a month to reach the finale, the news might bring joy to the fans.
If things turn out as expected, Bigg Boss 13 will become the longest-running season in the history beating Bigg Boss 8 which was won by Gautam Gulati. Meanwhile, the show will not conclude in January next year and that implies that the upcoming season of Khatron Ke Khiladi will be postponed as well.
While the extension of five weeks to the current season will witness a change of course in the journey of many contestants, it will be interesting to see the new dynamics in the show post the public announcement by Salman Khan.
