Producer Bhushan Kumar and filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri are set to collaborate on a new film inspired by Operation Sindoor. According to sources close to the development, the project will be mounted under T Series and I Am Buddha Production, with Vivek Agnihotri taking on directing duties.
The film is expected to draw from the codename associated with India’s targeted military strikes on terror bases in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir. The story will reportedly be rooted in the aftermath of the tragic massacre of innocent civilians, many of whom were tourists, in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.
While the project is still under wraps, insiders suggest that it aims to present a hard hitting narrative centered on national security and the human cost of terror. Bhushan Kumar and Vivek Agnihotri’s collaboration has already sparked curiosity, given their individual track records in backing and helming films based on real events.
An official announcement is awaited, and details regarding the cast, production timeline, and release window are expected to be revealed soon.
