Television actress Bhumika Gurung, who currently plays the character of Meera in “Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigyaa 2”, is not the one who’d give in and crumble under personal or professional pressure. The actress tells how she ensures to never stress over who she is sharing the screen with, while she is acting. Additionally, Bhumika is also unapologetic about thinking about how her character will be welcomed by the audience.

The actress said that she doesn’t think about anything but the show itself while she is performing. She believes that she is confident as a person, and finds it an interesting job to work under pressure. She tells how she likes to be pushed towards the goal and calls it quite a task when she is expected to make each character feel convinced but also says that it’s a part of her job. She says that she adds a hint of her personality to the character she is playing. The actress contributes a touch of herself to Meera’s role but on most days, she is following the script because she thinks that the character couldn’t have been written better than it is already on the paper.

Bhumika finds herself to be fortunate and is happy and content as she gets to play roles that are close to her personality and how she can resonate with them in real life. She finds herself to be extremely lucky because these offered characters are often sharing similarities to who she is and how she deals with the situations. Meera, as a character, describes someone who believes in doing good for others. She is a kind woman and Bhumika claims to have that trait in herself as well.

With regards to the present scenario in the country, the actress is trying to do everything in her power to help others. She is empathetic towards the people of our country who are having a difficult time coping with the dreadful wave.
She is aware that it has majorly impacted everybody’s life and she feels every day grateful to be in a better situation than those who are suffering out there and lack resources and facilities. She says, “I’m doing my best to help those in need and praying for everyone’s safety.” The actress takes this only as a phase that hopefully would pass soon and is optimistic of the better days that are to be followed.
