Horror-comedy Bhoot Police recently premiered on the OTT giant Disney+ Hotstar and the makers are already prepared for a sequel. Featuring Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor as ghosthunters, Bhoot Police 2 has been confirmed by the producer Ramesh Taurani.

In a recent media interaction, filmmaker Ramesh Taurani confirmed that a sequel to the recently released horror-comedy, Bhoot Police, is already on the cards and the male lead will be reprising their characters of ghosthunters. While speaking to entertainment portal Pinkvilla, Ramesh confirmed that the director of the movie, Pavan Kripalani, are motivated by the response from the audience and working on a script to turn the movie into a franchise.

The source further informs that the theme of the movie makes it the right fit for a franchise and the makers also left the first movie with an open ending which can be interpreted as a sequel is on the way. While the maker confirms that Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor will be reprising their characters in the movie, the rest of the cast and crew are yet to be confirmed.

Helmed by Pavan Kripalani, Bhoot Police features Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Yami Gautam and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead roles. The horror-comedy is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
