Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan is currently in the middle of the production of his upcoming movie and the second instalment of the successful horror-comedy, Bhool Bhulaiyaa. While the shooting of the highly anticipated movie was interrupted after Kartik Aaryan had tested positive for COVID-19, it is again under uncertainty due to the imposed lockdown in Maharashtra.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has been in the making for over a year now. The makers had to halt the production of the movie last year when Coronavirus was declared pandemic. Later, when the films went back on floors with the lead cast, Kartik Aaryan tested positive for the virus and the filming had to halt again. Now that Kartik is back in work mode, the movie has been put on hold again due to the third wave of Coronavirus.
Director of the movie, Anees Bazmee said, “I am waiting because there are reports of the lockdown being extended, and rumours of a complete lockdown in Mumbai. So, we are unable to plan anything. Kartik is so kind. He has told us, ‘Whenever you decide to shoot, I am ready.’ All actors involved have been cooperative.”
The team has to rebuild the set to restart the filming and if a lockdown is imposed any soon, it will be a heavy loss for the makers to abandon the sets once again. Therefore, the makers are waiting for the situation to normalize before restarting the filming of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 with Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani.
