Actress, Huma Qureshi who made her Bollywood debut in 2012 with Anurag Kashyap’s crime-drama, Gangs Of Wasseypur, has also appeared in popular movies like D-Day, Dedh Ishqiya, Badlapur and Jolly LLB 2, besides the popular web series Leila. The actress who will next be seen alongside Akshay Kumar in the upcoming spy-drama, Bell Bottom, says that Akshay Kumar starrer seems to be quite a special film for the entire production unit because it was shot last year during the first unlock phase.

Qureshi, who has played her bit in the film, says that it was truely distinctive for her and for the whole cast as well. It felt special going back to the sets and getting back to listening to the accustomed works such as ‘roll camera’, ‘action’, ‘cut’ after all that long phase of staying inside due to the spreading virus.

Going back to the sets of Bell Bottom, felt like normalacy to the actress. Quereshi feels fortunate that they, all as a team, were able to finish the shoot smoothly in time.

Looking back at her career, she fondly remembers delivering at her debut and realises what it takes to act in front of the camera. She says that some of the finest actors were a part of her debut film, Gangs of Wasseypur and it was quite a wholesome experience for her.

She has a special respect for Leila as well in which she was pushed to an end and rediscovered herself as an actor. Huma’s other upcoming releases are the Tamil film Valimai, the web series Maharani and Zack Snyder’s OTT release, Army Of The Dead.
