Indian actors, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, are coming together for the first time for Ali Abbas Zafar’s actioner Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, which is not a remake of the 1998 superhit. Touted to be an out-and-out actioner, the movie is being mounted on a grand scale and as per the recent updates, the team will be flying to Europe to shoot the same.
The makers have already begun preparations while the script of the movie is being worked upon for the final touches. A source close to the development of the project informs that an action team from Los Angeles will be joining for the recee to design the action scenes and the shooting will be done across beautiful locations of Europe. Filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar will be spending a month on the continent to finalize the locations.
While the lead duo has been locked and it is touted to be an exciting and energetic casting, the female leads are yet to be finalized and are likely to be announced by the end of July. Presented by Vashu Bhagnani and Pooja Entertainment, the movie is being written and will be helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The action-packed movie will be released in five languages – Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
Although the project shares the titles with the iconic 1998 film featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda in the leads, the makers have cleared that it is not a remake or a continuation of the story. The movie is slated for a theatrical release on Christmas next year.
