Kriti Sanon and Akshay Kumar are reuniting for the action-comedy drama, Bachchan Pandey, and the two have been shooting for the movie in the beautiful city of Jaisalmer for over a month. On Monday, Kriti Sanon took to her social media handle to announce the schedule wrap for her and shared the first picture of her character with Akshay Kumar.
Taking to the social media handle, Kriti Sanon shared a picture of one of the songs of the actioner with the caption, “And its a schedule wrap for me with @akshaykumar for #SajidNadiadwala’s #BachchanPandey directed by @farhadsamji .. #Myra ? @wardakhannadiadwala One of the bestest, most fun and memorable schedules i have had so far.. Time just flew and we ended up making a film in between the echoing laughters, gaming sessions and neverending lunches and dinners as we all became one family! It was surely the saddest Goodbye from the beautiful Suryagarh Palace.. but we shall meet again soon! ?? Can’t wait to see you guys in Cinemas! (sic).”

The actress thanked the team of Bachchan Pandey for making her time during the shooting memorable with echoing laughter and games. If reports are to be believed, Kriti Sanon will be portraying the character of a news anchor while Akshay Kumar will play the titular character of a dreaded gangster.
Helmed by Farhad Samji, the movie will also feature Arshad Warsi, Prateik Babbar, and Jacqueline Fernandez in key roles alongside Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon. The movie is slated to release on 26 January next year.
