After two successful blockbuster hits with Andhadhun and Badhaai Ho in 2018, Ayushmann Khurrana will be now seen playing a cop in ‘Mulk’ fame Anubhav Sinha’s interrogative drama ‘Article 15’.

With every movie of his Ayushmann has  been pushing the envelope and breaking away from the usual stereotypes that is usually created and glorified in Hindi films.

The director’s last movie Mulk dealt with communal violence, the politics of it, and it’s large impact on the community, it’s people and the nation as a whole in an unbiased and mature manner. The upcoming  ‘Article 15’ deals with the Indian constitution’s article 15 that prohibits any kind of discrimination based on caste, religion, color, race, creed, place of birth or belonging etc.

Known for his inclination towards character driven roles with a social impact and bonafide scripts, it’s no surprise the Ayushmann said yes to become part of this subject that’s so prevalent and important in a country as diverse like India.

Produced under the banner of Benaras Media Works, the film went on floors on 1st march 2019 in Lucknow. The actor first look as a cop is also out for the audience. The ensemble cast includes new comer Isha Talwar, the very talented and versatile Kumud Mishra, Sayani Gupta, Mohd. Zeeshan Ayyub and Manoj Pahwa in pivotal characters.
