It was earlier announced that Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor are coming together for the first time for director Abhishek Kapoor’s next and since then, fans have been eagerly waiting for more updates about the project. While the films went on to the floors recently, the title of the same was kept under tight wraps until now. On Wednesday, Ayushmann Khurrana took to his social media handle to reveal the movie title and his new beefed-up avatar.
Taking to Instagram, Ayushmann Khurrana shared a couple pictures with the team of his upcoming movie and wrote, “Next stop: My hometown Chandigarh for the first time Excited to be a part of Abhishek Kapoor’s delightful progressive love story #ChandigarhKareAashiqui. Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Pragya Kapoor co-starring Vaani Kapoor.” While the movie is titled Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, the shooting is taking place in the beautiful city of Chandigarh.
In the shared picture, Ayushmann Khurrana can also be seen with a built look for the first time as he is portraying a cross-functional athlete in the Abhishek Kapoor directorial. The actor started working on his transformation months ago and he was hiding his new look from his fans and we cannot agree more that the wait was worth it. Meanwhile, Vaani Kapoor also looks her elegant best in the frame.
Helmed by Abhishek Kapoor, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor as the lead pair and the progressive love story is slated for a 2021 release.
