The Bollywood industry never fails to amaze its fans whenever the nation faces any threat. While the Coronavirus pandemic is undoubtedly one of the biggest threats to humanity, the entire entertainment industry is lending its support in order to fight the viral disease and help the situation gets back to its normality.
In wake to the current situation, renowned actress Ayesha Takia and her husband Farhan Azmi offered their hotel in Mumbai to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to create quarantine facility for the COVID-19 patients. Ayesha and Farhan own Gulf Hotel in Colaba and since the hotel services are at a halt, they took the decision to offer it to the government to make use of it in the fight against Coronavirus.
Confirming the news, Farhan Azmi said that they have a small hotel in Mumbai and they hope that the government will support small businesses in the future. Meanwhile, it is not the first time that any Bollywood celebrity has lent such support to the government.
Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan had offered their four-storey office to BMC to be used as a quarantine facility. Similarly, actor Sonu Sood has also offered accommodation in his hotel to medical and paramedical staff who are working on the frontline.
