Avengers: Endgame has been one of the biggest cinematic events happened in history and the collections are going up even after two months of the release date. Although the epic superhero movie performed fantastically at the box office, it failed to get past the worldwide collections of James Cameron’s Avatar.
As the ticket sales are going down owing to other big releases lately, the president of Marvel Studios announced that the MCU giant Avengers: Endgame will be re-released next weekend. However, Kevin refuted the rumours of an extended version but instead said that the re-release will be the same movie coupled with some deleted scenes, a tribute and some additional surprises at the end.
When asked about the race to dethrone Avatar, Kevin Feige said that they never considered it even though it sounded sensational. However, a re-release might mint additional millions at the box office and Avengers: Endgame may top the charts of the highest grossing movie. The fourth instalment of the Avengers series has already collected 2.74 billion dollars worldwide and already a few million behind the collections of Avatar which is 2.78 billion dollars.
The re-release will compete with Toy Story 4 which might give a tough competition to the already a blockbuster movie.
