The biggest superhero event in history, Avengers: Endgame, was held in April this year and it was predicted to dethrone James Cameron directorial science fiction Avatar as the highest grossing movie at the international box office. However, after having a record-breaking start, the superhero drama seemed to be slowing down owing to many big releases lately.
In the overseas market, Avengers: Endgame has minted 1.90 billion American dollars so far and has already passed Avatar at the domestic market. Avatar made 2.78 billion dollars in the international market before it exited the theatres and it is still leading the global box office collection as of now.
