The fourth instalment of the epic superhero action drama, Avengers: Endgame, wreaked havoc on the box office, both domestic and overseas. Claimed to be one of the biggest cinematic event in the history of entertainment, Avengers: Endgame is inching towards highest box office collection globally, a record which is currently held by James Cameron’s Avatar. Keeping up with the craze of Avengers fans, Marvel studio has recently revealed a trailer of their upcoming video game.

Titled as Avengers: A-Day, the trailer was unveiled at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2019. Developed by Square Enix in collaboration with Crystal Dynamics, Eidos-Montréal, Nixxes Software, the game is scheduled for an official launch on 15 May 2020, after which one can play the same on Xbox One family of devices, PlayStation 4, Google Stadia and PC platforms.

The official synopsis of the game reads, “Marvel’s Avengers begins at A-Day, where Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are unveiling a hi-tech Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco — including the reveal of their own helicarrier powered by an experimental energy source. The celebration turns deadly when a catastrophic accident results in massive devastation. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband.”

Marvels Avengers A-Day

The trailer showcases major superheroes of the Avengers series that includes Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Ironman and Black Widow. However, during the stated catastrophic accident, Captain America dies which brokes the Avengers apart. While the fans are excited for the game to release, most of them are disappointed for not including Hawkeye in the trailer, who will be added in the game as per the official statement.
