Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn will be making his digital debut with the official adaption of the British psychological crime drama television series, Luther, and his fans are eagerly waiting for the same. Earlier, the makers had released a first look poster of the web series with Ajay Devgn leading the charge. According to the latest report, renowned Indian actor Atul Kulkarni will be joining the cast of Rudra – The Edge of Darkness.

The Ajay Devgn directorial will be shot across Mumbai with the original story of the British show adapted for the Indian audience. Sharing the excitement of working on the project, Atul said, “Digital content is dynamic and has altered the art of storytelling. Rudra – The Edge of Darkness is a gripping series that will surely disrupt the genre of cop dramas in India. With Rajesh Mapuskar helming the project, it will be exciting to work on this thriller.”

Apart from Ajay Devgn and Atul Kulkarni, Raashii Khanna will also be seen playing a pivotal role in the web series and will also mark her comeback in the Hindi entertainment industry after Shoojit Sircar’s Madras Café. “It is really rare to get something that pushes you out of your comfort zone and actually challenges you as an actor and Rudra just gave me that opportunity,” she shared.

Helmed by Rajesh Mapuskar, Rudra – The Edge of Darkness is being bankrolled by Applause Entertainment in association with BBC Studios.
