Sara Ali Khan has been shooting for her next, Atrangi Re, alongside Akshay Kumar and Dhanush for some time and on Saturday, Sara Ali Khan wrapped her schedule. Informing her fans about the wrap and thanking her crew for their support, the actress penned down a heartfelt note on her social media handle.
Giving insights into her experience on the sets of the romantic drama, Antrangi Re, Kedarnath actress Sara Ali Khan took to her Instagram handle to share some behind the scene shots along with a long caption addressing director Anand L Rai and co-actors, Akshay Kumar and Dhanush. “Thank you so much @aanandlrai sir for giving me this role, this film and this opportunity. But more than that thank you for your unconditional love, unwavering support, the best India darshan, delicious khana, early morning sunrise drives to location, sufi ginger water evenings, and the most memorable year with the best team,” she wrote as she thanked filmmaker Anand L Rai for the experience.

Sara further thanked Dhanush for the motivation, support and South Indian delicacies. “@dhanushkraja thank you for always being helpful, motivating and inspiring. Couldn’t have asked for a better partner in this journey ? and yes thank you for introducing me to your amazing music and mouth watering varieties of South Indian food (even though we could’ve avoided that indulgence during shoots),” she captioned.
Lastly, she thanked Akshay Kumar for the positivity on the sets and wrote, “And thank you so much @akshaykumar sir for bringing so much love, laughter, energy and positivity on our set ?? and sorry for stalking you for photos in all our costumes sir.”
Featuring Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush in the leads, Anand L Rai directorial Atrangi Re is slated for a release on 6 August 2021 in theatres.
