After delivering the blockbuster Jawan with Shah Rukh Khan, director Atlee is gearing up for his next ambitious venture—this time with Salman Khan in the lead. The film, tentatively titled A6, has been making headlines for its grand scale and rumoured star-studded cast. Reports suggest that discussions were underway with Rajinikanth for a parallel lead, while other names like Kamal Haasan were also considered.
With a staggering budget of ₹500 crore, A6 was expected to introduce a never-seen-before cinematic universe blending period drama and reincarnation themes. Salman Khan, known for his dedication to roles, has reportedly been working on achieving a specific physique for the film. However, conflicting reports have now cast uncertainty over the project’s future.
According to Masala.com, A6 has been shelved, though no official confirmation has come from either Atlee or Salman Khan. If the project does move forward, it is expected to be a pan-India release, potentially hitting screens in 2026.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan is focused on his upcoming action film Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss. The film, featuring Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Babbar, is set to deliver high-octane entertainment, keeping fans excited despite the uncertainty surrounding A6.
