Earlier this year, fans were thrilled to hear that Arshad Warsi had signed on for King, one of Bollywood’s most anticipated films starring Shah Rukh Khan. That collaboration marked Arshad’s first time sharing screen space with SRK. Now, the actor has also worked with Shah Rukh’s son Aryan Khan on his much-talked-about debut series.
Arshad plays a key role in Aryan’s maiden web project The B***ds Of Bollywood. His character has been kept under wraps until now, and it is far from a cameo. According to insiders, he has a significant part in the storyline that will surprise audiences.
The series has been generating massive buzz not only because of Aryan Khan’s involvement but also due to its star-studded ensemble and the promise of unexpected appearances. While some names have already been revealed, several major surprises are being saved for the show’s release, and Arshad is one of them.
The B***ds Of Bollywood features Lakshya, Bobby Deol, Sahher Bambba, Anya Singh, Raghav Juyal, Mona Singh, Vijayant Kohli, Manish Chaudhari, Rajat Bedi, and Gautami Kapoor in important roles. It also teases special cameos from big names like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, S. S. Rajamouli, Disha Patani, Karan Johar, and Badshah. Recently, a dance number featuring Tamannaah Bhatia was unveiled, further adding to the hype.
It is also a packed week for Arshad Warsi, as The B***ds Of Bollywood premieres on Netflix on September 18, followed by the release of his courtroom drama Jolly LLB 3 with Akshay Kumar on September 19 in theatres.
