He finds it amazing to see independent artists getting the recognition they deserve. The singer believes that there has been a large spike in non-Bollywood music consumption in our country and with the momentum that’s been picked up lately, he has no doubts that in the coming years India will get to see several Indian independent acts topping the charts internationally.

Armaan has recently teamed up with Korean-American singer-songwriter Eric Nam and international music producer KSHMR for his latest single “Echo”. The singer’s fans and Nam’s fans along with KSHMR’s dance music community have pushed t envelope when it comes to showering their love on the single. He says that their internet friendship started by appreciating each other’s work on Twitter and they developed a genuine mutual admiration and appreciation. Beyond music, Armaan loves how vocal Eric is regarding issues pertaining to Asians.
