After the unfortunate demise of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, NCB started a thorough investigation in the Bollywood industry and many renowned faces came under the radar. While the agency has raided and detained a number of celebrities and associates in the last couple of months, Arjun Rampal’s residence became a target for the ongoing investigation.
As per the reports, Arjun Rampal’s residence in Mumbai was searched by the NCB team in links with the alleged drug nexus in the Indian entertainment industry weeks after the arrest of his girlfriend’s brother. For the unversed, Agisilaos Demetriades was arrested by NCB after it came to the fore that he was in touch with the drug peddlers arrested in Sushant’s case. Agisilaos is the brother of Arjun Rampal’s girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades and therefore shares a link with the actor as well.
Although there has been no detailed information about the sudden raid at Arjun Rampal’s house, his residence was searched earlier as well for links and clues in the ongoing probe. Arjun was also allegedly said to have hosted the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput at his residence prior to the actor’s demise on June 14. However, he issued a public statement rubbishing the widespread rumours and called the allegations to be false.
