Coronavirus pandemic has kept the entire world grieving for almost two years and we see no end to it as the cases continue to rise once again. While the world was going back to its normal routine with vaccinating the majority of the population, a new Coronavirus variant has brought back the horror into their lives. In mere weeks, the majority of countries around the world are witnessing a significant increase in the new Coronavirus cases and many states in India have reinstated some of the restrictions to curb the spread. While the government continues to fight against the deadly virus, Bollywood celebrities have begun to test positive for the new strain like early this year.

Recently Kareena Kapoor Khan, Amrita Arora, Maheep Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor among others were tested positive for COVID-19, more celebrities have been tested to be infected with the virus on Wednesday. Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor, his sister Anshula Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor and filmmaker Karan Boolani have all tested positive for the virus. They are currently under isolation and following the treatment and precautionary measures suggested by the doctor to battle the life-threatening disease.

Rhea Kapoor took to her social media handle to confirm testing positive for Coronavirus and wrote, “My husband (Karan Boolani) and I are isolating and taking all prescribed medications and precautions.” On Tuesday, actor Ranvir Shorey had taken to the micro-blogging website, Twitter, to inform his fans that his son Haroon has tested positive for Coronavirus in a routine checkup while returning to Mumbai from Goa holiday gateway.

Earlier, Hollywood actor Hugh Jackson also informed his fans to have been tested positive for the ongoing wave of Coronavirus. Indian television actor Arjun Bijlani and BCCI president Saurav Ganguly have also tested positive for the virus.
