The much-awaited Telugu film, Nishabdam, helmed by director Hemanth Madhuka commenced its shooting in the United States on Saturday. The news has been confirmed by the production house Kona Film Corporation through its official Twitter handle.

The film stars Bahubali famed Anushka Shetty and R Madhavan in the lead pair, while well-known faces like Shalini Pandey, Srinivas Avasarala, Anjali and Subba Raju will play pivotal roles in the movie plot. There are reports that American actor Micheal Madsen, known for his performance in the Hollywood movie series Kill Bill, will also play an important part in the upcoming multi-lingual movie.
The movie went on the floors in Seattle, United States and will continue its shooting schedule of two months which involves the major part of the movie. Reportedly, Anushka Shetty has to shred a few kilos to get into her character in the movie.
Nishabdam will be released under the title of Silence in languages other than Telugu. As the name suggests makers are experimenting with a unique attempt since Nishabdam will be a silent film with possibly no dialogues.

Apart from Nishabdam aka Silence, Anushka Shetty will make her special appearance in the Telugu movie Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy starring Chiranjeevi and Tamannaah in the lead roles, while R Madhavan is busy with his directorial debut movie Rocketry: The Nambi Effect.
