Anushka Sharma has been on a self-imposed sabbatical for a while now and her fans are eagerly waiting for her next movie in Bollywood. While the actress has been active on social media as she could be seen vacationing and attending tournaments with hubby Virat Kohli, she is gearing up for a big announcement soon.

Anushka Sharma, who always upvotes a strong script, has signed a biopic on cricketer Jhulan Goswami, all-round cricketer and former captain of India’s national women’s cricket team. Anushka Sharma was spotted with the former skipper at the Eden Gardens cricket stadium in Kolkata earlier this year and reportedly they shot an announcement video which is yet to be released.

As per a source close to the development of the movie, Anushka Sharma will soon be making an announcement of the biopic through a video which will give insights into the personal and professional life of the cricketer. The project is touted to be one of the biggest films from Sony Pictures and we are expecting stellar performances from the star cast which yet requires an official announcement.

With Anushka Sharma getting into the shoes of Jhulan Goswami, the movie is expected to go on the floors soon and is slated to release on the big screens by the last quarter of 2020.
