The makers of Prabhas starrer mythological drama, Adipurush, recently confirmed that Saif Ali Khan will essay the antagonist in the movie but they have been tight-lipped about the leading lady. While the recent buzz hinted that Anushka Sharma has been shortlisted to play the part, the latest update has rubbished such rumours.
Bollywood actress Anushka Sharam recently announced that she is expecting her first child with husband Virat Kohli with an adorable post on the social media. While her fans were excited with the pregnancy news, the rumours of the actress being a part of Adipurush set the social media ablaze. However, a source close to the actress has revealed that she was never involved in the Prabhas starrer and she doesn’t plan to resume working until May 2021. Meanwhile, the shooting for Adipurush will commence soon.
Talking about the actress, Anushka Sharma has been absent from the big screen for a while as she is focused towards her production endeavours. The actress is expected to make a comeback with exciting announcements next year but currently, she is concentrating on her health and pregnancy.
On the other hand, Om Raut directorial Adipurush will star Prabhas as the protagonist with Saif Ali Khan playing the demon king, Lankesh. The movie is expected to hit the big screens in the year 2020 as a 3D action drama.
