Starkid Aaliyah Kashyap, Anurag Kashyap’s daughter hasn’t yet made her Bollywood debut yet but the lady is already an internet sensation. Aaliyah basks in a massive fan following record and is definitely leaving no stone unturned to impress her followers with her gorgeous posts.

Recently, Aaliyah took over the Internet as she opened up about landing in the hospital due to her personal battle with serious mental health issues and her extreme anxiety attacks.

The Starkid admitted that she has been dealing with extreme stress, anxiety and some depression right from her early teenage years. She said that since she was 13 or 14, she always found herself dealing with anxiety and depression but it had never been bad to the point where she couldn’t cope. The diva says that it has always been easy her me to snap out of it. Most of what she dealt with, she says was completely in her head and if she decided to really snap out of it, she could.

Her anxiety wasn’t interfering with her life. On asked how her mental well-being caused a breakdown after she tested positive for COVID-19 last year, Aaliyah opened up by telling that she hadn’t been able to come to terms with it which is strange for her because usually, it is quite an easy thing for her to come out of that feeling. She says that might do therapy or go for counselling sessions and will be fine in months or weeks. It’s been quite difficult for her post-November.

She admits to being feeling just super low, constantly crying on some days and feeling like there was no purpose in her life. She didn’t want to exist and didn’t know what to do with that. She says that she started to think like she was a burden on everyone else although all of these negative interrupting thoughts in her head were obviously not true.

Aaliyah narrates a time in December 2020, when she had a major broke down and she was in the hospital due to severe panic attacks and her parents flew down because they were worried. She also talked about a recent incident that took place sometime on April 10 this year when she suddenly felt her body became completely numb, and her heart started beating really fast. She said that she was sweating and her body started to tremble violently. She said that she has had panic attacks earlier but this was strange and she hasn’t experienced this before.

Why Aaliyah decided to talk about this issue is to assure all others who are going through this that they are not alone in this battle and everyone should get professional help.
