The highly anticipated film Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, was initially scheduled to release on August 11 but faced a delay due to VFX work. However, the latest update confirms that the makers have set December 1 as the new release date for Animal.
Previously, Animal was slated to clash with Gadar 2 and OMG 2 on August 11, but now it will hit the screens three weeks after Tiger 3 and three weeks before Dunki.
According to sources close to the project, Animal is one of the most ambitious films produced by Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for his perfectionism, requires more time to deliver a world-class product with uncompromised visual effects. The action scenes in the film are of such a grand scale that the team needed additional time to ensure the best version possible.
After careful consideration, the producers, along with Ranbir Kapoor, collectively decided to postpone the release to December. They wanted to give Sandeep Reddy Vanga the opportunity to bring his vision to life and ensure that the output meets their high standards.
